If you’re like us, the team at O'Neill’s loved cheering on the England Women’s football team during their victory at the Euro 22 Championships. The team's path to glory was not easy - they had to overcome some tough opponents along the way, but their grit and determination saw them through.

The final match against Germany was particularly impressive - Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly scored two goals in extra time that sealed England's first major trophy in… well, you know how long. It was a momentous occasion for the team and English football, which had come so close before but never quite made it over the line since the ‘66 World Cup (where, funnily enough, we also beat the German team to take the win). Speaking of the World Cup…

All eyes, of course, are now on the upcoming Women's World Cup - another great platform for the team to showcase their skills on a world stage. O'Neill’s are excited to see what this talented group of players can achieve in Australia and New Zealand this summer. Expectations are high after their Euro 22 victory, and they will no doubt use that success as motivation going into the tournament.

The Women's England football team have been an inspiration throughout this journey - showing us all what can be achieved when you work together as a team. Their success has been celebrated around the world, and O'Neill’s is proud to be screening the matches of such an inspiring group of players. We look forward to seeing them compete in Australia and New Zealand this summer!

The tournament kicks off on July 20th and runs until August 20th. A total of 32 nations will compete on the international stage for a chance to become the next Women's Football World Cup Champions – and we reckon we’re the best place to watch it all.

So why not come and join us at an O’Neill’s near you to show your support, cheer on the team and experience that big game atmosphere with fellow football fans. You can catch every kick, penalty, near-miss, controversial decision from the ref and every nail-biting penalty shootout… and how knows? Maybe, just maybe, another history-making win for England.

We’re gonna say it… it’s coming home. See you at the finals!
