O’Neill’s Sound of Summer

And the winner is…

Our Sound of Summer competition is over, the final was most definitely good craic and the finalists were amazing. But there had to be a winner, and our panel of judges crowned Soulhole the champions.

Soulhole Soulhole

Soulhole played an eclectic set including a Faithless ‘Insomnia’ cover that got the crowd going wild. We asked them what they thought of winning and for some advice for next years entrants:

"If you have a belief in what you're doing and are passionate about doing it- #soundofsummer competition is for you. After winning this year's competition the three years hard work in rehearsing, recording and playing out relentlessly has come good, it's all been validated and made worthwhile!"

Watch out for Soulhole performing at Bestival as part of their prize package alongside.

• £6,000 cash
• Studio recording time
• A UK tour of O'Neill's*

If you couldn’t make our final, check out our YouTube and see the bands in action.
